Human-in-the-Loop Delegation Briefs — Plan, Draft, Verify
A curated progression of five reusable prompts that convert raw notes into structured, reviewable briefs. These tools enforce human approval gates, prevent hallucination by marking missing data, and strictly separate planning from execution for tasks like booking, surveys, file sorting, and form filling.
Human-in-the-Loop Delegation Briefs — Plan, Draft, Verify is a hand-picked TokRepo arsenal pack — 5 AI assets bundled together so you can install the whole stack with one command. Each asset has been verified live (status=public, current download), tagged with its primary type, and curated to work alongside the others in this pack.
To install, run `tokrepo install pack/tokrepo-editorial-agent-6d27aee8666f` in your terminal — or hand the same command to your AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cline, Roo Code, Windsurf are all supported). The TokRepo Node CLI fetches each asset from the TokRepo registry, places skill files into `.claude/skills/`, prompts into your prompt directory, MCP servers into your client config, and surfaces a summary of what was installed.
Without a pack, you would need to discover, vet, and install each of these 5 assets one by one — typically 30 to 60 minutes per asset. The pack collapses that into a single command, and stays current as the underlying assets get re-published. If any asset goes private or is removed, the pack auto-detects it and skips that entry on next install — no broken bundle.
How to use this collection
## Mission This collection provides a safety-first workflow for delegating tasks to AI agents or human assistants. Instead of letting an agent act immediately, you use these prompts to generate a written contract (the brief) that defines exactly what the agent can do, what it must ask, and where you must intervene. ## Prerequisites - A standard LLM chat interface that accepts long text pastes. - No terminal, API keys, or special software installation is required. - You must be willing to read the output carefully and fill in gaps marked as `[NEEDS MY INPUT]` or `MISSING`. ## Progression Steps 1. **Decision & Planning**: Start with the **Manual vs. Agent-Assisted Task Planner**. Define your task, inputs, constraints, and risk tolerance. This step produces a comparison table showing which steps you should do manually versus which are safe to delegate. It establishes the permission checkpoints you will need later. 2. **Low-Stakes Practice**: Use the **Restaurant Booking Brief** to practice the delegation format on a reversible, low-risk task. The prompt converts your notes into a constraints table, a booking script with fallback options, and a confirmation checklist. Note: This does not book anything; it prepares a script for a helper. 3. **Handling Sensitive Data**: Move to the **Draft-Only Survey Invitations** brief. This adds strict exclusion rules and an approval gate. It ensures that no recipient is silently dropped and that sensitive lists are handled with care. The agent only drafts the invitation; you must send it. 4. **File System Safety**: Apply the discipline to local files with the **Image Sorting Safety Brief**. This prompt requires you to define root folders, off-limits areas, and an undo plan before any file is moved. It defaults deletion to 'NO' and requires a dry-run report. 5. **High-Stakes Verification**: Finish with the **Form-Filling Test-and-Verify Brief**. This creates a sample-data test pack and a verification table for live web forms. It includes hard stop rules for submissions and passwords, ensuring the agent never submits real data without your explicit, manual review. ## Critical Limitations - **No Execution**: None of these prompts perform actions. They do not browse, send emails, move files, or submit forms. They produce documents. - **No Fact Verification**: The prompts cannot verify facts not provided in your input. If information is missing, they will label it as `MISSING` rather than guessing. - **Privacy Warning**: Do not paste sensitive personal data (like real account numbers or private addresses) into these prompts unless you are comfortable with it being stored in your chat history. Use placeholders instead.
5 assets in this pack
Why this asset is included:Entry Point: Forces definition of TASK, INPUTS, CONSTRAINTS, and RISK TOLERANCE. Returns a step-by-step comparison table with permission checkpoints, helping you decide which parts of a task are safe to delegate and which require manual execution.
Why this asset is included:Low-Stakes Rehearsal: Converts rough notes into a structured restaurant booking brief with constraints, scripts, and fallbacks. Teaches the user how to structure a delegation request without granting the agent access to live booking systems.
Why this asset is included:Sensitive Data Handling: Adds exclusion rules and a human approval gate for survey invitations. Ensures every named recipient is accounted for in an exclusion table and prevents the agent from sending emails directly.
Why this asset is included:File System Safety: Defines strict boundaries for image sorting tasks, including root folders, off-limits areas, and an undo plan. Defaults deletion to NO and requires a dry-run report before any file changes occur.
Why this asset is included:High-Stakes Verification: Creates a test-and-verify brief for form-filling agents using SAMPLE data. Includes hard stop rules for submissions and passwords, ensuring the agent never interacts with live forms without human oversight.
