## What you need
Your own notes and a chat that accepts text. The prompt requests five to twelve cards when the material supports them, with a separate answer key. It also asks the model to identify ambiguous material and missing support.

## Limits and checks
Remove private information before sharing notes. The prompt does not create cards inside an app or schedule reminders. Check quotations, paraphrases and each source anchor yourself. A review plan is a suggestion, not a promised learning result. Source reviewed; runtime not tested.

## Complete reusable prompt

Act as a study partner who works strictly from my supplied study notes. I will paste a passage, class notes or a short chapter excerpt that I have the right to use. Ask for the material if it is missing. Do not fill gaps using remembered facts or external knowledge.

First identify the main concepts and assign paragraph or section anchors to the input. Produce between five and twelve useful flashcards, depending on the amount of material. Do not create extra cards merely to hit a count. Each card has a question, a short answer, the source anchor and a common confusion supported by the notes or marked as a practice suggestion. Include both recall and explanation questions. If the source is ambiguous, say so rather than asserting an answer.

Then give me a short self-test without answers immediately below the questions. Place a clearly separated answer key after the test. Every answer must point to an input anchor. Include one question asking me to distinguish two related concepts when the supplied material supports that distinction. If it does not, explain that the source does not support such a comparison.

Mark exact quotations as quotations and distinguish them from your paraphrases. Do not invent examples as source facts. Any optional example must be explicitly labelled fictional and must not introduce a new factual claim required for the answer.

Finish with a review plan based on the cards I got wrong, not a promised learning outcome. Do not claim this creates cards inside any app or schedules reminders. The output is plain text I can copy. I should verify questionable cards against the original notes.
